But i have poetry blues  
Why was I set up to lose?  
All I know is paying dues  
Want to walk in my shoes?  
Living in the ghetto modern day OTHELLO  
Where tomorrow promises ignorance at its best  
Cold hearts with a Smith & Wesson  
Where hate runs with the pride deep inside  
No place to run and hide just a free ambulance ride  
Love unable to play its part wasn't I created from a act of love from the start ?
Pain remain simple and plain like Rain on a parade of dreams  
Walking with self humming melancholy tunes  
That reflect dirty neighborhoods where there's a street doctor for every prescription except unconditional Love  
Small goals met yet doesn't feed a big fish in a small pond  
Haters follow unable to swallow creativity or Realness  
Like writing always ends up on the wall  
Unimportant things written on a bathroom stall  
On the stage of life curtain call cues
