Welcome home
The sky is bright blue
and the sun shines bright over my head.
The desert land expands past the horizon
And becomes one with the edge of today.
We might have not had the chance
to say goodbye my dear friend,
but one day we will see each other again,
And the roses that we planted
will have bloomed into beautiful bouquets.
This is the time we must embrace
To make it our very own
The universe is on our side
And even the desert blesses us with a smile.
Looking down from this small window I see
Something you almost never would've guessed
A gift from earth, a blessing from nature
A huge shaped smile
That seems to have been meant for me!
