"If it were destroyed, would you be free, beautiful angel?"


"There is no freedom for a Messenger slain. No heaven. No hell. If it were destroyed, I would cease. No part of me would continue. That would be peace. After everything I've seen here, everything that was done, that would be as close to peace as a Messenger torn from The Message could hope. I was a part of something.. something so.."

"Doesn't matter. This.. body is stained in this world. This humanity. The part of me that belonged with The Message was broken the moment the chains slipped around my neck and gave me form. My image, once representing hope, has been twisted to mean torment, and worse, to those who behold it."


"That isn't fair! They, they took everything, and now this?!"


"That which gave me flight is torn from me, but this bondage can be broken, if only to end it. To end me. Finally. I don't ask that you be my deliverance, only bring me the tools, and I'll sunder every link."

I would like that, for my final act to instill something good in the world, after so much.. pain."
