You held my hand

As we both walked this dark corridor

You held me when I cried and screamed

The burden I couldn't fight

Closer and closer to the very end

There is a faint bright light

I stay next to you as always

Squeezing my hand, to reassure me

"..Everything will be alright.."

We reach the end of the hallway

Hand in hand, we both push the door

The pain and suffering we had endured

I'm glad you were here for me
