Wholesome Longing
I do not need you
Alone
Just by myself
Life is simple...
I am complete.
My temple has endured the brutal onslaught of a thousand crafty sieges
The essence of fiber has evolved its defense with each attempted assault
This world would have me broken
My sweet Semiramis,
this Babylon does not fall
Defenses bolstered,
White blood cells and scar tissue making me ever stronger
Inner peace leaps from reflection to reflection in a gambit of angled mirrors
The final filter an illumination through gothic pane of rainbow mosaic shards
Cobalt, violet and turquios scattered among the hues
In the complete soaking rays of sacred light
I have one confession to make,
I feel the sorrow of missing you from my life
In wholesome serenity,
Soreness inside is equally devastating for the heart longing to be enriched
As it is for a lost puzzle piece trying to feel the strength of falling in line
[font=Calibri]
With you in my arms I rise between the covers of a flowing book unwritten
Page is to day as day is to Page
Realizing my most cherished story in the reality of your embrace
