The Play of the Lovelorn

Save me from these shining lights
And just hold me in your embrace
Life isn`t a race and we have forever
To figure out everything
Wherever I go, you`ll be my heaven
Close your eyes and just trace the skies
You`ve become a permanent resident of my heart
Occasional dropper by of my mind
At least once a day
I feel the squeeze on my stomach
Because I don`t know what the hell to do
When I think that you don`t even care I exist
I can`t just ask
It`s become a task bigger than our history
We didn`t last this far for nothing
Knowing what we were and are
How happy I am, lost in my own world
But how much happier I would be with your arms around me
Seems so foreign at this point
Like taking a trip to an unknown country
One that I seem to have been to before
Just give me some kind of sign, anything you can
I only have a limited life span
and yet we can`t play idiots forever....
