hidden from view

The wishing well near the circle woods
dipped down
close covered by long tall swishing
straw-like winds

grasses cover this old hidden place
deemed long lost by local folks
with some admitting that its been forgotten
over time,

there sits
gazing through the shoddy fields
a worn heart
dipping its toes in this well

from time upon time
tears
this old hearts tears of sadness
run down with beats to help fill the wishing well

tears of joy
of pain too
fall gently swirling down through springs waters
refreshing places, memories
