further than I've ever known
Don't let me feel, I want to be numb
because I can't face what I've become
More than anything I can handle
And I've lost my grip on everything I know
So here I stand in a gallery
And I'm surrounded by the dead and wanting
And they urge me further, further than I've ever known
The light at the end of the tunnel is going dim
Soon all hope will be out
And as I wonder through these chasms
Of empty rooms and lost souls
I feel an urge to follow them down
and they urge me further and further
Further than I've ever known...
Now I am surrounded by dark ocean waves
On a forgotten beach, located in bum-fuck nowhere
The waters are filled with mystery and death
And this island is my only refuge
And only grip on the bitter life I lead
but I'm urged onto the ensuing oceans currents
"The sea is very poetic in a sense. It covers such a wide range of the earth, and yet we know hardly a thing about it. It's like the mind of a poet, unknown and mysterious"
I want to push my makeshift raft away from this isolation
And from my problems
Yet I could travel the world and find more
People populate the earth, heaven, and hell
There's no point in even a minute existence
But my curiosity urges me further
Further than I've ever known...
