My Darkness Speaks to Me
She falls upon me in layers like dark chains,
And shrouds my entire being in her spider-like veins.
Her intoxicating venom throttles my throat,
And yet there in her poison I voluntarily float.
Like a black feather fallen from a raven's eye,
She rests on my ear as the angels in the heavens die.
Her impenetrable evil glows black in the night,
She parts her unspeakable lips and breathed blood masked with fright.
I look into her eyes and inhale her diabolical guise,
Shattered by the truth of her seductive lies,
She whispers of death and of the shadows in my mind,
I rip out her throat and scream,"I'm not blind!"
As she fades away into Oblivion's blackhole,
And the light that is day,her darkness stole,
I drift from my dream of murder and bliss,
All she had ever done was try to save me with her kiss.
