Crumbling to Ashes
Installed in a moment,
I feel it caving in.
The walls show movement,
cracks like porcelain.
Eyes buried deep,
The water spilling in.
Close the light, sleep.
No more scars or skin.
All my fragments,
Pulling broken strings.
Swallowing ashes,
No more broken wings.
Stars will fall,
Fire hiding the damage.
Spilling in, closing walls.
I'm crumbling into ashes.
I feel it caving in.
The walls show movement,
cracks like porcelain.
Eyes buried deep,
The water spilling in.
Close the light, sleep.
No more scars or skin.
All my fragments,
Pulling broken strings.
Swallowing ashes,
No more broken wings.
Stars will fall,
Fire hiding the damage.
Spilling in, closing walls.
I'm crumbling into ashes.
