here i am writing to you
begging for you to reply
I don't know what to do
do you think all i do is lie?

I wait for you to tell me is it over
are you giving up on me?
is the war ended like at the white cliffs of dover?
is this the way things are going to be?

I'm so scared of being alone
of not having you anymore
afraid of all my small lies being shown
afraid of being called a whore

I am scared of it all coming to an end
my fears drown me slowly
afraid of being turned into just a friend
