Frienship

Once upon a time,
You hate poems that rhyme.

I met you and you met me,
As if that was supposed to be.

We were strangers,
Somehow bound on the same adventures.

One day we made each other laugh,
Before we knew it, we were each other’s better half.

We promised Always And Forever,
Said we would give up our friendship never.

I said “To Infinity,”  you replied, “And Beyond,”
That was the extraordinary beauty of our bond.

You whispered “I love you with all I got,”
Our friendship was never supposed to rot.

But one day He walked into your life,
And you stabbed my heart with a knife.

I fought for you as hard as I could,
But things didn’t turn out like they should.

Our friendship is now broken,
And all I have been doing is smokin’.

You shattered the last piece of my heart,
Now I don’t know where to start.

Once upon a time,
You hate poems that rhyme.

You met Him and forgot me,
Maybe this is what was meant to be.

We are strangers,
On two different adventures…
