Paradigms

There is something to this reality stuff, I'm sure of it. I was doing some drawings, just some circles and lines, but I thought I saw something interesting, everything seemed to link up quite nicely. The more I looked at it the more I saw how everything is connected. There is a reason to this I'm sure, but at the moment to fail to see the total underlining point.

Perhaps there is no point, maybe its just a bunch of random stuff floating around in wont of a real purpose, and maybe that is the purpose. Could it be both? The notion of a grand paradox is an intriguing one. Somehow two seemingly unrelated or even opposite things being one thing and yet appearing to be two. Duality in motion is a complex paradigm to be experiencing. Where as all things form the human vantage point can be broken down or reduced to pure awareness. The mere notion of consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, seems to be its very own blinder, something you know without knowing and feel without being able to share a clear explanation.

Paradigms now. Paradigms are our working models of the universe, yet each is only a fragment of the whole. To try and  to explain the totality of the whole through only one of its lenses, leaves the viewer with more questions then answers, but when all the pieces of the puzzle are placed together, then the whole picture is much more clear and easier to understand. We just need to draw ourselves a map that help us explore the terrine a little better, and know where each country lie in relationship to one another.

The blurry lines that divide each paradigm can be described in relation to how information is shared between people. Where as in Science one observable fact of knowledge can be used to bring about a change in the physical world which is agreed upon when the ability to reproduce the procedure is indefinite. In short, if I can always do this then anyone can always do this. That is the relationship Scientist have with others, that is their shared paradigm. Yet the rules seem to change as we venture off into the other lands of different paradigm.

In an adjacent part of the spectrum of paradigm we see Science's brother, Para-science or Metaphysics. Here we have another system we employ to try and study and understand the world around us yet the same rules of quantification don't seem to correlate well with the shift. How do you measure Chi energy in a human being? Or explain a session of past life regression, hypnosis, meditation, and out of body experience? There are scores of people who have said they have had these experiences, but were the lines tend to blur here is that measurement and reproduction of these methods don't meet the set requirements of the Science paradigm. So could it be that one is right and the other wrong? Maybe their both right, but whats not clear at the moment is how they meet at the middle.

The other paradigms of philosophy, physiology, and spirituality seem to be good main base topics. With many others filling in the gaps between them, such as politics, religion, and occultism. And we could go further I'm sure (everything seems to be so absorbingly linked) but I think the main focus here is to see that all of these paradigms have one central thing in common, they all work. How do we know they all work, because people use them, and whether one can agree with the idea of other paradigms other then your own, we can conclude that if something didn't work it would not be used.

Back to the underlining point that all these paradigm seem to have in common, perhaps now given the nature of paradox we can see between the blurry lines. Maybe liken to how time and space are one thing, perhaps discovery and creation are one and the same as well. I mean we have these working models yes, but where did we get them? The answer is, we made them up. And they work because we want them to, they exist because we do. We exist because everything is energy, even information, and it is always moving, and changing, and redefining itself. No limits, no rules, just a really fun game.
