Sulking with Sorrow (PTSD)
Homeless Veterans dealing with PTSD
I sit out here alone
I have nowhere that I can call home
While I sit here sulking with sorrow
Because I have no place to go
I find myself in darkness
Why does my life consist of this
It hurt because I made it back
And the souls of my brothers were lost in the attack
These are just a few thoughts that I will never forget
I still can’t believe my buddy saved my life as his body to a hit
Why is my life filled with so many nightmares?
Sometimes I to ask myself why am I here
This part of my life that will always be kept
In my heart and soul that will always be a secret
I sit out here alone
I have nowhere that I can call home
While I sit here sulking with sorrow
Because I have no place to go
I find myself in darkness
Why does my life consist of this
It hurt because I made it back
And the souls of my brothers were lost in the attack
These are just a few thoughts that I will never forget
I still can’t believe my buddy saved my life as his body to a hit
Why is my life filled with so many nightmares?
Sometimes I to ask myself why am I here
This part of my life that will always be kept
In my heart and soul that will always be a secret
