The miserable are typically abrasive, lacking tact
Diplomacy they know not
Instead, they choose to be 'Misery Merchants'
Attempting to push their sorry attitudes and perspective
upon all who are willing to listen, lease or purchase
         
Holding no sway with those having positive outlooks
these 'Merchants' often resort to overbearing
manipulative, juvenile, bullying methods
'The hard sell'
But this too fails to persuade those with wisdom
       
No manner of negativity nor machismo bullshit
is a match for intellect, experience and the absolute power
of positive cognitive thinking combined with advanced deductive reasoning

The fool will wholly deny this truth
The small minded will deflect
The average will say, "I'm not sure I care"
The intelligent acknowledge
The wise fully comprehend

To the Misery Merchants of the world
As for me and my clan, 'We are not buying what you are selling'
