SILENT CALL

Prayers could not bring back
the lives of those unsung heroes:
who seek for the truth
so we may see the light
regardless of their plight,
who dared to walk
in the valley of tears
never to come back.

Unjustifiable killings,
no mercy at all.
Sometimes you question Faith
and wonder why
evils roam free,
innocents suffer persecution
while justice can’t see.

Prayers and faith
go hand in hand,
but not for those
in no man’s land.
Equality for all
regardless of color,
beliefs and religion—
so we may live harmoniously
under one roof of legion.

I call upon the leaders
of all nations:
presidents, kings and tyrants
Please heed my silent call
stop the business of ghost wars
no more greed, hunger and pain
equality and peace for all!
