Lucifer

It's said that he from heaven fell,
into the deepest pit of hell.
And that Lucifer is the deceiver,
presumes any true believer.
But is it really the whole truth,
of what happened in man's youth?
Was Eve by the serpent deceived,
or was it a fine gift she received?
Innocence and Paradise were lost,
but it was perhaps worth the cost.
At least Man's eyes opened were,
and though it is a burden to bear,
Man to Lucifer should make a toast!
