A feast in the park

The park where the trees have grown abundantly tall, the grass was soft to my bare feet. The evening air was cool, a whisper of wind that has the fresh aroma of rain, a most beautiful evening, a most beautiful park.
The loud screams of panic echoed through the entire park, like the oceans waves of water. There were many students from the community college reading or writing, children playing in the sand box, all looking around alarmed by the piercing scream.
I saw the woman who was turning circles, she seemed confused, frightened. Many ran to aid her fright. Minutes ticked by, she wore her self out from panic from crying. She was saying her husband was sitting next to her as they sat on the grass under one of the beautiful tall trees. Repeating the words he was right here next to me, he was here and then gone, taken by some thing out of the trees, something strong, some thing extremely fast. She repeated these words. You could hear her screams of her husbands disappearance from the ambulance that some one had called.
The entire park was in a state of panic, mothers reaching for their children in the sand box. The rumbling of people talking in fear filled the park as they ran to their cars
The peace in the park became hysteria. It was now a lonely, empty place.
I would be back to feed, to feast on the flesh and drink the warm blood that I craved and needed to survive.
