so long, good bye, and hello
memories of old
come to mind
dim-lighted room
darkness just outside the window
walks by an old widow
love, love and hatred she says
a good soldier
gave his life
that a young man
might live
selflessly
hate, hate fills the souls
a pain carried
a memory inside
and something to hide
never would i ask
of attest to the facts
just ask to reveal the the hidden
let me forget the forbidden
good bye, good bye forever
and hello tomorrow
