Soulless

An enemy awaits in the shadows,
The shadows of an innocent girl's mind.
He waits there and tears her apart,
So much, that she wants to break down and cry.

He watches her fall apart,
And uses that against her will;
When she's feeling terrible,
That's when he goes in for the kill.

He causes her to overthink
Everything that she does,
And overthinking caused her
To destroy everything that ever was.

She wants to start over now,
But little does she know.
The enemy inside of her head
Refuses to let her mind go.

He loves watching her fall apart;
He loves watching her scream.
She begs for her life sometimes,
But this is part of his scheme.

He begins to tug at her soul,
And causes her soul to break.
He feeds on her screams
And watches every emotion she fakes.

She begins to realize,
There are many things that she hides;
Her emotions are one,
And two, the thing in her mind.

She begins to fade away
As what she sees beautiful dies.
A world so happy and bright,
Turned into darkness in her eyes.

Once a lively person
With a beautiful soul,
Now she's a drone,
And her emotions lay rotten in a hole.

Her soul had left her body,
For she is now a walking corpse.
No emotions within the frozen heart;
He is proud of his works.

She takes the body out next;
A quick bullet through the head.
He goes off and looks for another victim,
While she lies stiff as a board, dead.
