I didn’t know…
That my heart could sing first thing in the morning.
And whisper to me all day…
Time to wake up
I didn’t know…
That a soul could sing so loudly
That you would swear everyone could hear.
Yet
Whisper so softly
Time to wake up…
I didn’t know…
That a heart and soul like mine
could wake up in the middle of my life
And begin making music…
And all the words and the melodies being written by
Us.
