and desires to absorb what is released

shape shifting thru imagination
until it creatively provokes
mocking the senses
til fingers form the perfect stroke

the canvas is exposed and eager
awaiting some design
highly intoxicated off the scent
of paints and turpentine

the canvas longs to create and be created
to bare the stroke of genious
to be completely absorbed in the craft
 so lively... creating simultaneous

just as the artist creates a painting
the painting creates an artist
both come to life,connected by the breath
creativity harnessed

becoming a marvel worthy work of art
a masterpiece that's breathtaking
life imitates art
what masterpiece are you creating?

see i can't imagine
a world without art
it would be like trying to love
without a heart

or painting a picture
with no colors
a lifetime of winters
with no summers

like working hard all week
but not getting paid
nothing to show for
the effort you made

it would be like boring sex
with no kissing and touching
i mean if you don't enjoy it
what's the point in fu---

well you get the picture :)
the point i'm trying to make
is that art imitates life
so what masterpiece will you create?

we write ourselves
into existence
destiny unfolds
in each sentence

creative outpouring
of oneself...
and a true artist gives
