Aching to be touched deep inside
Nobody realizes the pain she hides
Feeling inadequate for him to want
She sees her worthiness so terribly gaunt
Chasing after his love all of her life
Rejection slices her to pieces like a sharp knife
Always alone she seems to be
This woman I speak of is me...
