I'd whisper in my own ear to look away...

don't look back at him, don't say hi back, don't say yes, don't blush, don't giggle at every word he says, don't stare deep into those dark brown eyes because you simply won't find your way back home.

I'd shake myself and scream "you don't want to know how it feels to have your heart ripped out of you and played with, dragged across broken glass, and forced to function as if nothing bad ever came"

don't hold his hand, don't let him walk you to class, don't let him take you to the movies, don't invite him over, don't let him..take your clothes off, don't let him...tell you he's yours..don't let him lie to you..and don't let him make you believe it.

But it's too late now and time has passed, all I can do is watch him watching her and praying she looks away.
