Understand

When I look at what it is to be human,
I see the pain and suffering we all go through.
Some more than others.
I see the inability of others to see the anguish in their friend�
in their foe.
I see the discrimination� the hatred� the egotistical world view.
I see the cries�
Cries for help�
Cries for love�
Cries for acceptance�
We want to be understood�
Because, to love is to know�
And to know, to understand.
