Attack On Your Sympathies

I've gotta strange new problem
And I don't know how I can solve it
It's not in my control so it's awkward
And safety makes no offer
For me to survive so I can't process
This mess in private so I confess
To deal with stress I hit the bottle
Drink a pack of Hamms full throttle
Most people say it's awful
And besides that it's unlawful
What else am I supposed to do though?
It's my only therapy, you know?
Why am I asking you? You don't care
You're unaware of the issues that are out there
Like personal inner struggles to resist fear
That gets so bad you can't see clear
You think you see a monster in that mirror
And can't help yourself to shed tears
Then want to remember how you got here
In this frame of mind
But life doesn't give you extended time
To reflect on your past mistakes
So it takes a certain strength
To move on and not hesitate
Yet you can only make it a certain length
Before you start an inner debate
Then don't look at yourself so great
You start noting your flaws and feel hat-
Red towards yourself but then it's too late
But hey, I've gotta hot date
With a dancer chick, I've gotta go
Just thought you all should know
This was all a show
So you feel sympathy for me and boost my ego
But if you didn't notice that you're too slow
I already moved on ages ago
I never let my life sink that low
And now you all realize this was just a game
To toy with your mind and I didn't even mention my name to you because it's all the same
