A brand new day

Its a brand new day,time to say
good bye to all my problems from yester day
I say goodbye to the darkness of the dawn
for its a new beginning right in the palm of my hands
each spec of light shrouding over the darkness
for its no longer a starless night
as the radiating beams wrap around me breaking me free
its when all despair and wounded hearts heal its a sight to see
for I can finally let go of my past and move forward
its when serenity and unity finally emerged deep within
as I let go of all the blood on my hands and all sins
I can't change the past but I determine my future
for its a brand new day, so I say
goodbye to all my problems from yesterday
for my heart pulsates all of the poison out of my body
its what keeps me moving and its what heals me
for the was a needle of regret injected right into my neck
but it all fades away with a brand new day as I heal with each step
look into my soul and watch every burden finally leave me
for I let got of the poison that was deadly
it was destroying me from inside of me
with the new day I can finally be free
so there is no need to save me
as I walk into the light and everything becomes fine
its the only good thing god sent it might be a sign
for with this brand new day all my hope was again ignites
as the darkness fades away for it can not win this fight
the angels wings wrap around me setting in my hope
as each feather release me from another calamity
so never lose hope for its a brand new day.
