My Light

Pins and needles, broken glass
stuck in my heart from tormented past
like a doll that no one wanted
believed in love until I lost it
but now I see through the porcelian
shattered, cracked like a spider web
I guess I had to go through this darkness
so that I could finally see my light

The clouds have parted from my perspective
