The emotions shared with people who
Don’t realise they have your heart,
When efforts your make fall away
In a blink of an eye,
An axiomatic truth should be told,
Selfish actions shout a whole lot
More than words of comfort…

Comfort my being with the honest
Truth and not with colourful lies…

The smile I receive should not be
Engineered by any motives,
But should be genuine…
Look me in the eyes and
Let your tongue flow with movements of the truth,
Travel from yourself into my shoes
And take everything you have thrown my way…

Please don’t be sleek in luring my trust
When your plan is to misuse it
Causing disappointment in my life,
Cause I trusted you enough to
Let you in and book a place in my heart…

Never trick a soul into caring when,
Your intentions are to break and not build…
So please comfort my being with the
Honest truth and not with colourful lies…

Never take an honest heart for granted.
