Isolation spreads like tuberculosis.
Do not fall for the man who tries to sell you his heart.
He sells things for a living. He is counting down the tragic days
until he hits rock bottom and must sell his soul.
Do not fall for the storyteller.
His expressive mannerisms will hide the truth from you.
His stories will get tangled with reality
like legs in dirty sheets.
Do not fall for the broken man.
You are not meant to save him.
When you hear his wails in the night
Run.
It does not make you evil.
Do not fall for men like your father
You are not fatalistically doomed
Oedipus was not your prototype.
