There's an artist I know-
 creative, instinctual, and robust
Though it seems
the road of life
 adventurous trials and losses
Create
 Clouds of discord
Disconnection of sorts
 a severance from the
roots
the center of being
There's an artist I know
 Modest and humble
Yet do not be deceived
the cover or the attempt of
can not hide
the elegant eloquence
that the
journeys are shaping
 There's an artist I know
who dampened her light
even attempted to extinguish it all
 but the pilot light does not die..
it remains,
waiting to be stoked to fullness
waiting and willing to rage
 There's an artist of
life
 I know
 that needs to begin....
