Sirens Call

A sirens call,
A desperate plea upon the ground,
Abandoned by life,
Searching for he knows not what
To find it in the arms of a stranger,
He sobs his anguish to the silent night,
One that hears comes to him,
Takes him by the hand and leads him,
The light that is theirs
Passing, fleeting but full with passion,
He shouts his glory and she her pleasure,
The rustle of wonder envelops them,
The rainbows end is close,
The morning light breaks through,
The shadow that is his siren,
Gone with the rapture they shared,
Was this real or was this his dream,
Come to haunt him forever more,
His siren gone but remains still upon his skin,
The smell of summer and touch of winter,
Contasts too much to absorb,
But not enough to sate his thirst his hunger,
He waits for the night call,
His dream his haunting nightmare his own sweet sirens call.....
