Mirrors

My Mirrors At Home,
All Ganging Up On Me,,
Plotting,
Planning,
Talking,
Scamming..

There Out To Get Me,
They Fill Me With Dread,
There Plotting My Downfall,
Messing With My Head..

I Look Into Them When I Get Ready Each Day,
But The Things That I See,
Are Just Dark And Just Grey,
There Making Me See ,
Just What Isn’t There,
Wrinkles And Lines,
Scruffy Brown Hair..

As I Walk Into Work,
I Double Take At The Window,
My Reflection Stares At Me,
Hardly Recognisable,
Who Is That Person,
Who Can That Be..
Hang On,
No Wait,
That Cannot Be Me..

Now I’m Confused,
Don’t Know Who To Believe,
Who Is This Person I’m Trying To Perceive..
Who Really Am I,
And What Do I See,
Something Different,
To What These Mirrors Tell Me.
