On Hades Threshold

Darkness falls
as the bard sings
of vengeance done
of fallen kings…
he scours the skies
of myth and legends
the earth of intriguing tales
gone and done
and sing them for his own
old tales in newness told

Hades he Rises
with tales of vengeance
from the old books
and older scripts
transforming words
by prophets and mystics
to one known by all

Darkness eternal
his forte in words
spilling his ink
on empty canvas
drawing lines across
names of gods and goddesses
of pale horsemen
thundering towards
the last frontier
the lost ending

words said written sang
tales retold recalled
Hades Rising said it all
a true dark wordsmith
with stark humour
spinning webs
in dark tapestry

He will ride on
to tell epics
mayhaps to be sung
by those who ride
