Stephen King plays the same way. Open the heart chakra, with something innocent. Then when it's up down, up, down, see-saw rhythm, break set by dropping a visceral bomb

Preferably one that attacks on two sides, leaving no escape, then instantly powershift to 4th gear, bringing the terror to 70 plus.

Every battlerapper takes some pride in releasing hot threats, but dismissal? Dismissal is cold. Dismissal is gangster.

That's some New York Times "God is Dead" on christmas day cold.
Then wrap it up with the same see-saw rhythm, slowing the pace down, bringing back to the tender spot. Which is cool, because it's alot like slicing an X in someone's stomach, then shooting it, and ending by poking your finger around the edge and just gently tickling.
Now, I don't mean to suggest that this particular template of attack was your deliberate tactic.
I want to flat-out say this tactic is gold. If you stumbled across it? Then you're a bloody fucking genius. I see this pace at work in alot of places. You got natural battlevision if this is how your flows work.
