Harridan...
"Harridan!" Call me that he did;
"strict, bossy old bitch!"
"Bag of bile, belligerent woman,
you will heel and obey",
but I had other plans,
shrew that I am,
I wear his words
like an armored suit
and still his barrage of
beautiful words continued...
"Termagant! Harpy!"
"Belligerent fishwife!"
Ha ha ha Was that meant to hurt? ?
"Ah you redheaded hellcat
you truly are a she-devil!"
Again I laugh hahaha
as lastly he spits out
his final insult...
"witch!!!"
Aye! I have been called
all that and more,
even so much
as devils whore,
but nothing can touch
my withered heart,
that useless muscle
ceased feeling emotions
the day, love tore it apart.

I have been splattered with such words...and shrugging them off is the best way. Good read, Red!

The graphic was a terrific aid in getting into you words. (not that you really need aid). It really did feel like I was reading an old pirate tale from my youth the noted exception that the subject was female.
I also am appreciative that you introduced me to two words that I doubt I will ever come across teaching pre-school children.
