Hopeless !!!
Darkness sparkling the night
Passing through trees & rocks
I carve your name on each log
Exulting in those dense thoughts.
Moths and beetles rest in my lap
Hear your name with each struggling breath
I chant your stories like a painful rap
And swallow the drugs to preclude my death.
I yell, I howl,I scream aloud
For my tongue cuts & bleed my mouth
Reassuring that I am still alive
though making efforts not to survive.
Walking all over the spiny thorns
And agonizing with thyself
I move in no Direction
Searching for a wishing well !!

These analogies came to mind; take a dash of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone", add a dash of Stephen King and then a heavy dose of the uniqueness of your mind, and you have this write. The solitary nature of this dark poem is very striking.
