Dormant Passion

Laying between sleep and awake,
I am assailed by ravenous cravings
and desires I cannot even begin to slake,
the incessant onslaught
is an extrasensory overload,
my over taxed imagination
sends me into desirous throes,
it seizes my mind and body
in a vivid array of images
that are unrelenting in their savagery
and mercilessly primitive.

Astutely you perceive
the sensuality that lays dormant,
like a sleeping tiger,
you sense it just below the surface.
My sexuality calls to you with it’s siren's song
you crave the awakening of the predator
thereby indulging in its licentious barrage.
No woman can give a man all that she is,
unabashedly, uninhibited
without investing her heart in it;
akin to a lust filled fiend,
you covet what can be achieved,
having a skilled hand,
you know how to succeed.

You attempt to convert me
into your sexual plaything,
dearly wanting, in depth,
to exploit my sensual profundity.
I am more than you bargained for;
fathomless passion and strength,
my emotions flow like tidal waves,
immeasurable in their extent and breadth.
You prowl and threaten, ceaselessly,
to set the slumbering beast in me free;
but I resist, I can see yours’ is a selfish want,
not concern for my needs,
I could be anyone, you don't see me,
all I am is a challenge, a way to sate your sexual greed.
The forbidden, something to experience and enjoy
then discard, disregard moving on to the next toy.
