Do I want too much?
Is that the reason?
I often want friends
Who I can share everything with.
Friends,
Who I don't feel like a burden around.
Friends,
What are those?
I often want a girlfriend,
Who I can simply be with without fear.
Girlfriend,
What is that?
I must want too much.
I must be insane for trying.
I must be insane for the heartache, I give myself.
I must be crazy for being so hopeful.
Is that the reason?

It is a question raised by many, in different forms, but it remains:
The true connections between people - is it possible to share 'everything'? How well do close friends or lovers really know each other? So, "do I want too much?"...

Wanting a true friend isn't asking for too much.Everyone should have that connection.Everyone needs a real friend they can vent to and listen to.I've had the same bestie for 24 years...just 4 years longer then I've been married!As for a girlfriend, she'll come to you when you least expect it!
