The predators feel only hungry

The sound of your stomach’s growling

Your lips barely touch, just close enough
To secure my heart strings,
You tug so hard so often, I’m surprised
They’re still long enough to reach.
Why are you doing this to me?
Why do your kisses come with such cruelty?
You say my wounds are well deserving, your

But the succubus continues to feed, she
Swallows my heart’s final few beats
I was just another pretty meal to eat and
She could eat dozens of heart’s belonging
To dozens of people like me and still
She’ll never feel her own chest beat,
The succubus will always be heartless
She’ll always be hungry.
