Dessert

I'm a little bit nervous things are going well
because that's right then when they all go to hell.
Picked up a tails penny by the side of the road
said I'm sure tired of doing what I'm told.

So he is coming down to see me this weekend,
and we're both aware we're not just friends.
with 4 hours between us it doesn't look good
place your bets and let's see just how this ends.

I don't have a prediction,

But he makes me feel pretty,
and he kisses like dessert.
It sure feels good to put first,

He's a little bit different, it's my favorite part,
my friends don't get him, it's just who they are.
But I get these feelings when he's kissing on me,
like hands off my eyes, I can finally see.

See things had to go wrong before they could go right,
like the start of our very first date that night.
Tired and hungry, it was getting to his head,
it was so cold out and the lights were red.
but then later on when it was just him and me,
I let him know that all my lights were green.
