"The Bishop's Rose Garden"

(As written by Myself, circa 6th grade)

Even before the masque of Winter's fury,

He toiled for a place of perennial joy.

A garden, simple, yet elegant.

His head was always full of thoughts, he lived in thoughts.

But he was a simple man.

He never knew Love in the eyes of the world,

But he understood a deeper, greater love.

He was a dreamer by Nature.

Behind the old church yard in the gloaming,

He would toil for a burst of perennial Joy.

He lived in his world of thoughts.

He toiled in the old church yard.

He dwelt in the Bishop's rose garden.
