The raindrops are so small. They sound so soft against the windowpane. I step out of the car wrapped in a blanket of regret. Wondering if you even remember my name.
I turn around to yesterday, and right before me is your warm embrace. I see everything so clearly. Every movement, every touch, every sound, the softness of your lips upon my face.
Im startled from tomorrow, and turn to see whats in front of me. Its you. Your smile. Its your hand, cursed for not holding mine. But holding hers. Im afraid to go the extra mile. I see me, alone and bleeding. You were so deceiving, and yet I fell clumsily, tripping over my heart and not even moving yours.
