The Red Hare

A fox
a fire fox
a demon fox
a white nine-tailed demon fox
a yokai
it hides
behind suzu

behind the bells of her voice
under the sapphire sky,
away from those bleeding Violet eyes
of the moon

gone in a flash
back to his beloved
the red hare

scarlet lips and crimson eyes
ruby hair smooth and soft
warmth
her spirit delights
even the sun
she giggles and plays
with the sweet scent of strawberries
her alluring perfume

nightshade eyes,
charcoal lips ,sleek black
raven hair and a seductive grin
tall,not as sweet
not so innocent

friends red and black were
but the white fox did not care
he loved them both
but always found time
for the red hare
because he loved her the most

the white fox sat her on his lap, always
held her close to his heart
with his nimble fingers
he picked cherry blossoms,and bleeding hearts
to decorate her hair
"AKANE"
he called her
"AKANE"


but the black hare was only "KURO"
got hydrangea,and blue bells
and never got to play with him
as much as Akane did

jealousy poisoned
kuro
she killed her dear friend
the red hare

then wore her skin
to fool the white fox
into making love with her

though intending to trick the white fox,
whom both hares had named Kitsune
her eyes, her aura
gave her away

out of rage and pain
the white fox killed the black hare

and wept burning tears for his lost love Akane
