secrets of a cowardly kid

yeah my secret...is dark
my secret... is deep
i thought forever my secret i will keep
but i was wrong
bounded to the chains of life feeling like king kong
life is like a song and we all just sing along
to the notes of despair
we all know that life is not mostly fair

but lets get back to the secrets wandering threw my mind
i wish i could grab the clock and... rewind
who knows what i'd find maybe the gun..
maybe the tracks of where i decided to run
maybe i can go back and pretend like i was never there
review the evidence and make sure there's non there
or maybe i should leave it as it is
i mean i was only a little kid
