Hope

She calls but nobody answers
While she walks, she's surrounded by dancers
The ones who know who they are and why
She's trapped behind bars of shy

She's all alone but nobody sees
She has no idea who in this world she should be
She cries because of the frustration inside
She's screaming, and yet she still hides

How can she ask when nobodies there
How can she love with no one to share?
How can she try with no one to show
How can she live, when nobody knows?

The hope inside that someone will come
Turns its back on her and runs
She contemplates what next she'll do
The fact that nobody will care is true

She ends her life later that night
A burning candle, they blew out her light
A slit of the wrist was all it took
Yet no one alive took a second look
