Beautiful complexions.

Feeling stuck in a warp of never ending blackness
I see the bath and her almost flawless complexion
So beautifully she stares back at me
Her four walls hold her soothing heart

Forcefully I glare into the mirror
A reckless, abandoned soul glares back
I wish I could be like the beautiful lady behind me
Be able to pour my heart out on command
and yet still manage to be comforting.

Water flows from the taps so effortlesly
Scalding water burns against the bareness of my skin
Sadly I'd rather drown in this pain
Than to feel absolutely nothing at all.

I turn on the tap to the tangled thoughts in my mind
My mistreated heart is now sobbing for a release.
One last time I look deep into my reflection
And with my razors jaded edge I etch what I see
Onto my ever pale canvas.

Feeling stuck in a warp of never ending blackness
I see the bath and her almost flawless complexion
So beautifully she mophs into me
and together we become one
Her four walls now hold my empty, dead heart.
