Hypnagogia
My first glimpse of morning
into a "threshold consciousness"
caught between the scenes of reality and dreams
its in this moment
desolation lapses
into silence
in this moment
murmurs of a broken heart
flitter into mute
in this moment
I plead not for death to
reunite us
in this moment
I'm at peace
without you...
Then I Blink

Under the bridge between reality & dream is where I try to dwell. The Romantic within can barely co-exist with the outer Realist. Some of us may never know balance. These are the surreal moments that I can barely remember yet cannot easily forget. Glad to see you finally post something. This is a truly affecting piece & I hope there is more to come.

easily lends itself to cryptic interpretation! My favorite parts:
" in this moment
I plead not for death to
reunite us"
" in this moment

Hey,
ok, one poem, hell of a write though. Be nice to read a bit more from your mind and experience.
I see nothing wrong with the content, or the words chosen, I think you could utilise your refrain a little better by putting
"in this moment" on its own line throughout, mere nit pics though and all in a great offering but sad there are no more to read.
great stuff, shine on

Yes! One,
That's all I could muster. I write and I write, only to destroy them all in the end. I don't know why, but I let this one escape. nevertheless I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.

A delicate poem on a delicate state. Wonderful lines, Ali-cat. The last line's mind-blowing.

How does someone write something so beautiful and only have one poem? Must have been an amazing moment of inspiration! JJ
