Dance Of The gods
Drums afar beating,
Forward footsteps match;
Odor of blood reeking,
The plot's about to hatch.
Pounding heartbeats reverberate,
In none abides a chance,
To live again another day,
For tonight the gods dance.
They passed their judgment,
The dice is cast,
And no atonement,
Can hold it fast.
The drums will play,
The sound will boom,
Mortals will slay,
Without a clue.
Misty clouds,
Trumpet blows,
Yelling aloud,
Tears and blood flow.
The gods are dancing,
On a bloody floor,
Every twist and turning,
Is a call for more.
"Woe unto them,
Our call they notice not,
Now unto mayhem,
Shall head their rebellious lot"
Bows and arrows,
Guns and powder,
Ghost and shadows,
Ego and power.
Up yonder,every move they make,
Stirs the earth so rough,
And as the cosmic ball shakes,
Many lives are snuffed.
Vain words from selfish Rulers,
Leaves fires kindled,
From cradle to the bier,
To leave the powers dwindled.
All a humble reminder,
The supremacy of the gods,
For every wisdom finder,
Must hearken to their words.
Now worlds are lost forever,
For they in rebellion dare,
The dance of the gods they notice never,
Blindly towards a goal they cannot near.
