The Life & Times of Little Justice: Back on the Grind
Lil J, slept like a log,
and passed much of the day away.
As he thinking of ways to tame that
beast of a climb up that tree which of course,
was no' oridinary' tree mind you.
Bullet stared quizzically at Lil J
curiously wondering what was being said to him
as Lil J explained to him...
"boy you're just gonna have to stand tougher next time
I got one more try at the tree, wanna be sure I learn
it's every secret, so I can't keep coming to your rescue"...
By the time Lil J had arrived at the foot of tree
he noticed a note upon the ground, reaching to
pick it up he slowly reads a most familiar phrase
' no ordinary ' tree.. seemed to highlight itself
as Lil J could recall a sign with same the words
on it when he found it hanging from the tree...
It was already half past two
(a phrase he liked ever since he had recalled mom
saying it back when he could barely stand straight,
but when she said it;
it sounded way cool so it 'stuck with him')
and the air had a feeling of hopefulness to it.
Quickly arriving back at the tree,
Lil J tied bullet to the stump
that nearly became his graveyard a few days before,
he thought to himself about Bullet not liking that idea
but it was Lil J's way of seeing to it that
Bullet would face his fears
(hearing the words of his dad
play in his head like a commercial all day:
" now son remember this, you
may be afraid of many things,
but the only way to overcome them is to face em headon"
so, that's why Lil J decided to put ole Bullet to task...
Grabbing onto one conviently placed branch
Lil J, once again..ascended that tree...
*Decided it's been much too long
since i picked back up on my
Little Justice story,
hope all who read it, enjoy!*
